Clean, nice staff and good communication with the owner through Whattsapp. Bed vas comfortable, room spacious. Breakfast ok, good pancakes, coffee, fruit.
Rules and regulations were not followed. Neighbour was loud until 02:00 (should be quiet after 21:00) and the guard didn’t tell the ppl to be quiet so I had to tell him. Told the owner in the morning and he dealt with it right away.
The location, the people working there was very kind. The cat and the dog :)

The internet could be better, but I think it’s not the property’s fault, it felt like a general problem across. Also one of the people in my party complained of an uncomfortable bed.

Lighthouse Guesthouse is a great place to stay if you want to be close to the beach. I had a wonderful stay at Lighthouse Guesthouse. The location is perfect, close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. They also helped me arrange tours around Zanzibar, which made my trip even more enjoyable. The room is spacious, with a very big bathroom and it was clean. Asnaty was very friendly when serving breakfast, cleaning up my room or doing my laundry. She also liked doing some cute linen art everytime she cleaned the room. Luwoso was always very helpful, and even made sure to walk me up to the neighbouring restaurant at night. Breakfast was on rotation so different for each day. Good location...
WiFi issues at times and power outage, but back up generator kicked in to allow for the fan to work.Read more
